well birth control isn’t only for not getting pregnant.. it also makes your periods lighter and helps get rid of acne.. so if you have a really heavy flow or bad acne, you can tell her that you want birth control for those reasons so it’s not as suspicious.. i’m in grade 10 too and i started on birth control in grade 9.. i’ve only actually been sexually active for like 4 months now.. also if your period is really irregular it helps it too.. that was the main reason i started on birth control, sometimes i’d have my period two times in a month, then i wouldn’t have it for like 3 months, so it regulated my periods.. even if it’s not true you could tell her that’s why you want birth control to avoid the sex talk

it could go either way.. personality is also what gets guys too though.. figure out what kind of girls he likes (ex. if he likes girls who will play video games with him, someone he can be romantic with, etc).. not trying to burst your bubble or anything though, but it sounds more just like a friends with benefits thing.. you never know though, he may end up getting feelings!
